Christopher Cross

Cambridge Corn Exchange, 14 May 2026

Christopher Cross burst onto the music scene with his 1980 debut album, winning five Grammys, including the “Big Four” awards—a first in Grammy history. Over a career spanning four decades, he has sold over 10 million albums and earned Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination, and five Top 10 singles.

He co-wrote the Oscar-winning “Arthur’s Theme” with Burt Bacharach, scored hits with “All Right” and “Think of Laura,” and earned an Emmy nomination for “Swept Away.” Since 2007, he has released eight albums on his own label, including Take Me as I Am (2018) and The Complete Works (2020), celebrating his 40th anniversary.

Now back on tour, Cross continues to perform classics like “Sailing” and “Ride Like the Wind,” alongside newer material. From his early days in Texas to global acclaim, it’s been quite a ride.
