Indie folk singer-songwriter from Lyttelton, New Zealand
ALDOUS HARDING is an acclaimed indie folk singer-songwriter known for her “elastic and shape-shifting voice,” enigmatic lyrics, and eccentric performances, blending gothic folk with off-kilter pop.
Daughter of folk singer Lorina Harding, she began recording young, gained attention busking, and released her acclaimed self-titled debut (2014) and breakthrough Party (2017) with 4AD, working with producer John Parish.
Her subsequent albums, Designer (2019) and Warm Chris (2022), solidified her reputation for original, captivating, and often mysterious music, winning awards like the APRA Silver Scroll for “The Barrel”.
