Indie folk singer-songwriter from Lyttelton, New Zealand
Aldous Harding (born Hannah Sian Topp in 1990) is an acclaimed indie folk singer-songwriter from Lyttelton, New Zealand, known for her "shape-shifting" vocals and theatrical, often eccentric performances.
Harding grew up in a musical family; her mother is the Canadian folk singer Lorina Harding. Despite initial plans to become a vet, she began writing songs with fellow New Zealand musician Nadia Reid.
