DIRTYGEAR is what happens when the Ramones get drunk with The Strokes circa 2001, and wake up in a world that’s gone soft. At just 18 years old, this fresh-out-the-gate four-piece is loud, sharp, and unapologetically pissed off—with the songs (and sneer) to prove it.
Born out of boredom, frustration, and the raw need to be heard, DIRTYGEAR is the sound of youth reclaiming indie rock with punk teeth. No gloss, no filters—just jagged riffs, pounding drums, and lyrics that call it like it is. Their debut shows are already leaving a mark: they’ve sold out The Six Six in Cambridge and are stacking up high-profile support slots like they’ve been at this for years.
This isn’t a band waiting to be discovered. They’ve arrived, boots on, amps cranked, and middle fingers raised to the status quo. They’re not here to play nice—they’re here to make noise, wake people up, and drag indie back from the dead—with punk as its pissed-off sidekick.
DIRTYGEAR is more than a band. They’re a movement in the making.
Indie isn’t dead. It’s just put on its old boots and picked a fight.
