Perfect for beginners as well as prolific writers.

Led by songwriter Stu Hanna, the course covers the basics of song writing, including structure and harmony, lyrics, rhyme, meter & clarity. The six workshop sessions incorporate guided songwriting tasks designed to improve your songwriting skills and confidence as well as:

- Meet kindred spirits
- Learn songwriting theory, tricks and techniques.
- Share your ideas with others

Stu Hanna has been writing and performing his songs across the world for the last 20 years. He has co-written songs released on major labels and had songs broadcast across BBC Radio1, Radio 2, Radio 3 and BBC 6 Music. As one half of critically acclaimed duo Megson he has been nominated 4 times in the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards and described as being “amongst the upper echelon of Brit Folk Songwriters” by MOJO Magazine.
