Shiny New Model – Cambridge’s festival for the new, the noisy and independent returns for its third instalment!

SQUID
Brighton’s Squid fuse post-punk, art-rock and krautrock influences into a thrillingly unpredictable sound. Built around Ollie Judge’s urgent vocals and propulsive drumming, the five-piece have earned widespread acclaim for ambitious, genre-defying records and explosive live performances, cementing their place as one of the UK’s most vital and inventive bands.

Art School Girlfriend
Art School Girlfriend is the project of producer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Polly Mackey, whose immersive sound blends electronica, shoegaze and atmospheric indie. Acclaimed for her meticulous production and emotionally rich songwriting, she has built a devoted following through a series of celebrated releases, international touring and collaborations across the electronic and alternative music worlds.

Disgusting Sisters
Disgusting Sisters are the chaotic electronic pop-rock duo of real-life sisters Jules and Josie. Raised between the UK and France, they blend emo nostalgia, punk attitude and infectious pop hooks into loud, emotionally charged songs packed with humour, heart and sibling chaos. Inspired by cult TV, horror films and their teenage playlists, they’re quickly making a name for themselves with their wildly energetic sound: part pop, part punk, fully unhinged.

Hungry
Sweaty, frantic, full frontal guitar energy, and uncompromising vocal performances make Hungry’s blend of fuzzed up indie and jittering post punk one of Manchester’s most energetic and unforgettable live shows. Following September EP ‘Are You The Best Yet’ and Februarys ‘Cambridge Is On Fire’, the new ‘Fenland Gothic’ theme brings Hungry’s live show into darker and more powerful territory

KLOYD
Yorkshire-raised, London-based producer Kloyd crafts cinematic, downtempo electronics blending trip-hop textures with emotive songwriting. Backed by BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music and heading into a breakout 2026, her debut mixtape New Love marks her as one of the UK’s most exciting emerging artists.

The Motor Show
The Motor Show deliver a gritty collision of garage fuzz and backcountry twang, a chaotic, high-octane ride drawing comparisons to Fat White Family and Viagra Boys. Known for feral live shows, they’ve earned support from BBC Introducing and key underground tastemakers.

The Orchestra (For Now)
A word-of-mouth phenomenon turned sold-out force, The Orchestra (For Now) fuse avant-garde rock, baroque indie and jazz-tinged chaos into their self-styled London prog. Following acclaimed EPs and major festival slots, they’re fast becoming one of the UK’s most ambitious new bands.

TTSSFU
Manchester’s TTSSFU channels shoegaze, indie and lo-fi experimentation into a dark, immersive sound world. Fronted by Tasmin Stephens, her rapid rise includes sold-out shows, major support slots and the visceral Blown EP, a raw, uncompromising statement from a compelling new voice.

Esme Emerson
Esme Emerson are the sibling duo crafting warm, intimate indie folk built around heartfelt songwriting and effortless harmonies. Following a string of acclaimed EPs on Communion Records, they’ve built a devoted following through standout festival appearances and captivating live performances. Honest, uplifting and beautifully understated, their songs leave a lasting impression.

Laughter
London’s Laughter fuse post-hardcore, noise rock and dream pop into something both crushing and atmospheric. Pairing jagged guitars with ethereal vocals, they’ve earned a reputation for explosive live shows and are fast becoming one of the UK’s most exciting names in alternative music.

Snowdeer
Cambridgeshire four-piece Snowdeer blend dream pop and alternative rock, balancing delicate melodies with spacious instrumentation and moments of raw intensity.
