Riffs and Rights: New Music and Dance for Human Rights

West Road Concert Hall, 12 Mar 2026

A fascinating and innovative collaboration between composers, musicians and dancers, featuring world premieres by Nigel Osborne, Christopher Fox, Howard Skempton, Marta Gentilucci and Richard Causton.

Performed by Jinny Shaw (oboe | oboe d’amore | shō), Robert Davey (cello) and Alan Stott (piano) alongside eurythmy dance troupe led by Maren Stott.

This brings together composers associated with the Cambridge Music Conference and the Faculty of Music, and is presented in association with the first Carmack Composer Residency, held in 2026 by Nigel Osborne.
