Brilliant singer-songwriter returns to Cambridge following his Folk Festival appearance in 2024
BLUE ROSE CODE is a band led by singer-songwriter, Ross Wilson. At once, one of Edinburgh's favourite sons and still one of Scotland's best kept secrets. Containing within their music, the tenderness of John Martyn, the Caledonian Soul of Van Morrison, and the powerful roots mastery of Nathaniel Rateliff, Blue Rose Code channels the spirit of these masters with a sound that is bold, authentic, and undeniably their own.
Blue Rose Code’s music has been described as "Ravishingly beautiful, a blaze of Caledonian Soul, muted jazz & poetic recitation (Uncut), having an "almost religious intensity and sincerity. Wilson makes widescreen soul in the spirit of Van Morrison (The Times), and "One of the best live acts around..."(AmericanaUK)
