The Dunwells are a successful indie-folk and Americana band from Leeds, England, formed in 2009. The group is led by brothers Joseph Dunwell (vocals) and David Dunwell (guitar, vocals).
Initially rooted in a "warm folk-rock" sound with Americana influences, the band has evolved to incorporate acoustic instrumentation with electronic elements, citing influences like Elbow and Damien Rice. They gained early international recognition with their 2012 debut album, Blind Sighted Faith, which led to a performance on the Jay Leno show and sets at festivals like Lollapalooza.
