SNAKES
According to Chinese astrology, 2025 is the year of the Snake, which bodes well for one of Chelmsford’s best-loved bands.

2024 saw the trio expand and develop their sound, creating and recording the exquisite songs which comprise their second album, ‘Expo’. Ranging from intelligent power pop to sophisticated dream pop which highlights their shoegaze influences, Expo is a major leap forward from their debut album and will surprise many people. This set of songs has been produced by the supremely talented S R Mortimer who has helped bring Snakes’ latest music to life.

The band has recently broken into London, playing well received sets and looks forward to launching ‘Expo’ on home soil at their favourite venue, the Hot Box. With support on the night from the excellent Arcane Moon, this promises to be a truly memorable and brilliant night of music.

ARCANE MOON
Following Arcane Moon's sell out debut gig at Hotbox in July 2024, the guys are back for another night of quality live music entertainment on April 12th, 2025. Arcane Moon are a dynamic originals rock band from North Essex. Josh and Matt met through a prior band and started writing together in May 2023. Influenced by bands like Radiohead, Chilli Peppers and The Police, Arcane Moon combines soulful melodies with a driving groove. Joe joined in January 2024 and Scott in March 2024. Their debut EP 'Ellipsis' was released at the end of 2024
