A first for Chelmsford, and a great step for grassroots bands to get their music heard outside as well as inside the venue. Bands, venues, radio, and promoters all working to further the scene and the city together.

OCEANVEIN
Diving into the depths and delights of modern heavy music, Oceanvein boasts an outrageously ambitious collective of creative explorers. Initially conceived as a passion project between lifelong friends Lucas Colyer and David Mackay, the recruitment of Troy Hutchinson, Tomasz Nowakowski, and Joseph Rice-Mundy expanded the group into a cabal of motivated comrades.

Blending hypnagogic textures and enchanting melodies with a dose of disgustingly heavy riffs, their oeuvre will commence in 2025 with huge releases and pulse-pounding live shows. If you have any interest in the state of modern rock music, you need to check these guys out!

ETERNAL KARMA
Eternal Karma are a guitar driven rock band pulling influences from psychedelic blues and raga rock. This Essex four-piece of seasoned musicians create an energetic sound. This is matched to their stage performance as they thrive upon the interaction of the audience. The creative mix of their styles is sure to keep any listener invested and heads up, this band is loud!
