Lyra are the latest injection of fresh air from West London. The four piece have been taking pride in blurring the lines between soul, rock, funk and pop with their alternative stamp on music. Individually, the band grew up listening to a vast array of musicians ranging from Beyonce and Michael Jackson to Green Day and Avenged Sevenfold. This blend of influence is what makes Lyra tick.
The band have received several features on BBC introducing in addition to being awarded track of the week for their single “S.T.A.Y” and “All the Same”. In 2024 they headlined Phoenix Festival and shared the stage with artists including Scouting For Girls, Sister Sledge and Sophie Ellis Bextor
