Formed in 2018 in Essex, Junction 28 have been growing fast in the UK metal scene, releasing a steady supply of singles, EPs and music videos that have attracted both loyal local fans and a broadening degree of attention from the wider world.
Their latest release is Echoes, a new five track EP that acts as a distinct progression in their material, showcasing their potential and ability while shifting through genres like new outfits. Labels like nu-metal, industrial-rock, alternative and even pop amongst many others have been tried on, but have never fully fit, as have often made comparisons to Linkin Park, Bring Me the Horizon and I Prevail. But easy resemblances and written categorisations are subjects the group actively seeks to avoid. Whatever the style, the focus has always been the intensity and energy delivered in both their recordings and their live shows.
