Cakestupid are vocalist Isabel and multi-instrumentalist Tiv. Both songwriters, they create classic brilliantly crafted songs encompassing a diverse range of musical influences resulting in an original sound that refuses to be pigeonholed.
2016 saw the release of their self produced 12 track debut album Temperance And Virtue. Taking seven months to make, it is proudly DIY/Lo-Fi. Featuring Isabel's haunting passionate vocals and Tiv's skills as a multi instrumentalist, it is melodic and infectious, with at times almost bubblegum retro pop stylings that collide against an unexpected dark lyrical twist.

Cakestupid have recently ventured into film making, creating a promo film for their track "There Goes Stephanie" which was shot on vintage 16mm and Super 8. Also shot on Super 8 is a live festival performance of "Please Don't Bring Me Down". Both can be viewed on Facebook, YouTube and the media page of their website.
