Chelmsford-base punk/indie/rap fusion
Bilk are a new exciting rock and roll band hailing from Chelmsford, Essex. Fusing elements of punk, indie and rap, Bilk’s genre can never be pigeonholed.
Fronted by Sol Abrahams and backed by Luke Hare and Harry Gray, Bilk’s music speaks to the youth of today with relatable songs about partying, love, growing up and being yourself among other things.
The band have a strong cult following of die hard fans who scream every lyric at the shows they attend and have tattoos of the band’s iconic snail logo. Bilk has grown from strength to strength with multiple sell out tours and and major festival appearances around the UK.
After releasing their debut self titled album in 2023, the band are about to release their second album, “Essex, Drugs and Rock and Roll” early next year on the 24th of January 2025.
They’ll head out on their biggest headline tour to date with shows across the UK including stops at the Electric Ballroom in London and Academy 2 in Manchester and dates all over Europe including Paris, Hamburg and Dublin. Bilk are not a band to be missed so don’t be hesitant to get a ticket for their next tour, you won’t be disappointed.
